Creative Project

This course was expanded to Advanced Project in May 2016.

Creative Project provides a foundation for students embarking on a self‐directed process of study, research and practice leading to a practice-based output in one of a number of mediated forms (see below). During the first term the student is required to submit a proposal for either a group or solo project, depending on the project. A significant feature of the course is that once students' proposed area of activity has been agreed, they are mentored in working towards their goal through regular focused tutorials with a staff member who has experience in that area. The course also consists of a series of lectures and workshops designed to support and inform students in their approach to practice-based research across the spectrum of disciplines listed below.
